1 Kings 14:12-14

The Voice

¹² Get up quickly, and go back to your home. As soon as you set foot in the city, your son will die. ¹³ All of Israel will grieve for him and bury him. He is the only member of Jeroboam’s family who will have a proper burial, for he was the only one within Jeroboam’s house in whom the Eternal God of Israel found something good.

¹⁴ The Eternal will appoint for Himself a new king over Israel, and this new king will separate the kingdom from Jeroboam’s house from this day and beyond.
